Wren and her teddy bear Wonder float on an island in the depths of space, observing the formation of a stellar nebula. The great cosmic tree, forged from a dream-seed propels them forward.

Adrift along side Wren on an accompanying island, William watches the dream-seed sapling grow, planetary bodies emerge like fruit, evolving at an accelerated rate. Soon a fully-formed solar system will be released into the Wild. One planet falls from the sapling early, not yet fully developed.

#3 – A Whimsical Plan
Wren and William are hard at work in the heart of the cosmic nebula. The grand crystal forged by William provides the energy necessary for the great dream-tree to grow. The seed Wren crafted has a grand destiny and it is her vision of the future that gives it purpose. William however, is focused on another mission, fine-tuning the evolution of a planet that reminds him of home.

#4 – The Whispering Tree
As the tree grows to its maximum height, the fiery leaves reach out into the void, and the roots consume the great crystal within. The nebula clears away and suddenly a gateway opens at the base, a passage to another place and time. Wren looks up at the chain of islands connected by the roots as a whispering voice calls to her from beyond. From the gateway, two figures emerge and make their way down the stone stairway. At first she does not recognize the cloaked figure, but something about him seems familiar, but it is the other form, a ghostly teddy bear, that Wren recognizes straight away– It is Wonder, the very same bear she holds in her hand, given life.
In forging this Whispering Tree, it was her mission to open a connection to the past, to return to their lost home, but strangely it seems to have connected to a place even farther into the future.
